I am a mom of four, married to the handyman of my dreams, and I truly believe there is beauty in every moment.

I began my photography journey in 2009 with a “fancy” point-and-shoot camera..that I had no idea wasn’t professional - I bounced around a bit before ending up back in Billings, Montana and officially started my business in 2015 after my second child was born. Since then I’ve photographed hundreds of families all over the country. I have been blessed with returning clients in Billings year after year, and it was absolutely bittersweet to leave them for a new adventure when we moved our family to Eagle River, Alaska in the Summer of 2023.

I told myself that I would take one year off from client work to get settled into our new home, and that turned into taking our entire time in Alaska off (outside of flying back to Montana for my forever clients each Fall). Turns out that downtime was exactly what I needed to find myself as a wife, mom, and photographer again.

But here is to 2025! This year we are heading back to the midwest, and I can already feel the creative juices flowing again. I am excited for the new JBP - and I am so thankful that you are here with me. Stay tuned!
