DIY Wedding Cake for Alaska Elopement
As a connoisseur of many hobbies, when a bride reached out to me about photographing her elopement here in Eagle River, Alaska and then asked if I would also be interested in making a little cake for them, I was happy to say yes! This almond poppyseed cake with homemade lemon curd and cream cheese frosting was so fun to make (and only took 2 practice runs). Topped with the cutest little yellow flowers I found growing next to our driveway and presented on a thrifted cake plate, this is truly a DIY wedding cake.
